DES MOINES, IOWA (August 12, 2023)–Presidential candidate Ryan Binkley is riding a wave of support as he addresses thousands of voters at several high-profile events at the Iowa State Fair over the next few days.
“We’re on our way to that debate stage. We’re working towards it from a donor perspective. We just gained 3700 new donors in one day. We are about to pass the 25,000 donor mark, and we’re averaging over 2300 a day right now. So keep us in your prayers. It’s going great, and we’re having a lot of fun.”
Binkley joined Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds at her Welcome Reception on Friday and shared his message of unity and fiscal responsibility at the Des Moines Register Political Soapbox on Saturday, where 13 presidential hopefuls are taking the stage for 20 minutes to pitch their political proposals. Binkley participated in the Iowa tradition by explaining his policy positions on the federal budget, immigration, health care reform and more in front of a live audience, followed by a question and answer session with the public and the media. He talked about his plans to overcome our nation’s biggest challenges by reaching out to all Americans to focus on our common goals.
“The only way we are going to tackle our national debt, secure the border, solve immigration and transform health care is to work together,” Binkley said. “Our current leadership in Washington does not seem able, or even willing, to do that.”
On Sunday Binkley is one of the celebrity chefs serving food at the Pork Tent at 11 am, and his final appearance in front of a large crowd is Tuesday morning at 9:30 am when he joins Gov. Reynolds for an informal one-on-one Fair-Side Chat.
“We’re building grassroots momentum through the power of sharing ideas,” Binkley said. “People are engaged. They want something different. They want something new.”
Binkley is co-founder and CEO of the mergers and acquisitions firm Generational Group. Under his leadership, Generational Group has grown to nearly 400 employees through 16 offices in North America and has sold over 8 billion dollars’ worth of businesses.
