DALLAS, TEXAS (Aug 17, 2023)–After a whirlwind round of campaigning through New Hampshire, Iowa and Indiana this month, presidential candidate Ryan Binkley is back home in Texas to speak to thousands in Plano and Dallas this week.
“We are gaining momentum because we’re talking about things that matter to people’s pocketbooks. Our message is about getting our finances on track for the next generation,” said Binkley, a businessman and pastor in Richardson, Texas. “We’re going to be $50 trillion in debt in the next eight years if we continue what we’re doing. I’ve got a plan to balance the budget in seven years.”
Binkley is bringing his vision to the Collin County Republican Men’s Club in Plano at 7 p.m. tonight and to the combined Texas Young Republican and Young Republican National Convention in Dallas tomorrow.
On Friday, August 18, Binkley is addressing a crowd of 3,000 young Republicans for 30 minutes to share his plans to end healthcare monopolies, secure the border with a comprehensive immigration policy, reduce inflation and federal debt, and lift Americans out of poverty through education.
“We’re trying to reach out to urban America and college students. The Republicans have not done a good job of that. Our message should resonate regardless of your income level or your age,” Binkley said. “We need to teach young kids how to read, write and do math. Only one out of six eighth graders in urban America are reading at the eighth grade level. So I want to start a volunteer movement with college students. For five hours a week, they’ll tutor third graders through fifth graders. Let’s engage the community.”
Binkley is engaging the next generation of leaders throughout the afternoon and evening Friday at the Young Republican National Convention in the Omni Dallas Hotel, 555 S. Lamar St., Dallas. He will be featured at 3:45 pm during the Presidential Forum and will be available for questions from the media immediately following the breakout session. He is also available for one-on-one interviews from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at his booth in a prime location on the convention floor. Finally, Binkley is speaking to the full convention audience at 7 pm at the Chairman’s Dinner.
On Thursday, August 17, Binkley is speaking at a Collin County Meet and Greet at the Collin County Republican Party Headquarters, 2963 W. 15th St., Suite 2981, Plano, in the shopping center behind CVS off Independence Parkway.
“For the first time ever, the Collin County Republican Men’s Club will be hosting a nationally recognized United States presidential candidate,” said Collin County Republican Men’s Club President John Myers. “We are pleased that our speaker for the August meeting will be Ryan Binkley, the CEO of Generational Group in Richardson, Texas. Ryan is calling America’s leaders to return to the core values of trusting in God and each other again, caring for the hurting, leading with integrity, and bringing hope and healing to our nation.”
Binkley co-founded the mergers and acquisitions firm Generational Group, which has grown to nearly 400 employees through 16 offices in North America and has sold over 8 billion dollars’ worth of businesses. He and his wife, Ellie, founded Create Church, also in the Dallas area, to care for all members of the community through teaching God’s word, urban missions, food drives, youth ministry, and marriage support. As the founder of The Way to Freedom nonprofit, Binkley has combined the wisdom of a businessman and the heart of a pastor to generate fresh, creative ideas to foster unity and solve our nation’s problems.
“America is in desperate need of an economic revival and a heartfelt spiritual revival,” Binkley said. “We’re so broken in these areas. We’ve never been this divided in my lifetime. If we don’t come together to solve some of our biggest problems, we’re going to be in a lot of trouble, more so than we are now. That’s why I’m running – for the next generation.”
