HANOVER, NH (August 1, 2023)–Dartmouth students eager to learn more about the vision of Republican presidential candidate Ryan Binkley gathered at the Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences at Dartmouth College Tuesday during the candidate’s first public meet and greet event in New Hampshire.
“They asked substantive questions. These are college students who were looking to be engaged in politics and excited to speak with a presidential candidate,” said Dave Hageman, campaign strategist for Binkley’s presidential campaign.
The Binkley For President 2024 campaign launches its outreach and advertising blitz in New Hampshire today. Binkley has been campaigning in Iowa for two months, spending every week and about $1 million on advertising to share his vision for ending healthcare monopolies, securing the border with a comprehensive immigration plan, lifting Americans out of poverty through education and balancing the federal budget.
“Students came out because they are concerned about the economy and interested in the political process. They asked economic questions; they asked about China and Ukraine,” Hageman said. “A lot of students decide to attend Dartmouth in an election year because they want to be part of the campaigning in New Hampshire. They want to know: How are you going to run our country, and what do you believe in?”
Binkley told the students and faculty at today’s meet and greet that China and their allies are doing everything they can to weaken the dollar. “Our economic health has to be strong, or we can’t stand up to China. We have to get our financial health in order,” Binkley told the crowd, emphasizing the importance of balancing the budget and paying down the federal debt to improve the prosperity of Americans.
Binkley is co-founder and CEO of the mergers and acquisitions firm Generational Group. Under his leadership, Generational Group has grown to nearly 400 employees through 16 offices in North America and has sold over 8 billion dollars’ worth of businesses. He and his wife, Ellie, founded Create Church, also in the Dallas area, to care for all members of the community through teaching God’s word, urban missions, food drives, youth ministry, and marriage support. As the founder of The Way to Freedom nonprofit, Binkley has combined the wisdom of a businessman and the heart of a pastor to generate fresh, creative ideas to foster unity and solve our nation’s problems.
Binkley plans to visit the campus again next month at a bigger event as part of Dartmouth College’s Path To the Presidency series. He is now tracking at 1% among registered voters in a new national poll, equal to Asa Hutchinson and Doug Burgum and surpassing four other long-shot candidates (Perry Johnson, Larry Elder, Will Hurd, Francis Suarez).
