COLUMBUS, GA (June 15, 2023)–U.S. presidential candidate Ryan Binkley spoke at the Georgia state GOP convention last weekend, along with three other leading candidates, including Donald Trump. While the other messages went on the attack with divisive rhetoric, candidate Ryan Binkley summed up in 15 minutes at the reception dinner how his campaign will unify America, revive our economy, and broaden the reach of the Republican Party, with messages and policies that appeal to all demographics, from middle-class suburban voters to our youth and minorities in urban America.
“It’s time for us to share our message of freedom and small government, and open up a window and broaden our tent into urban America and with the hearts of young people,” said Binkley, a businessman and pastor from Texas who spent the previous week campaigning in Iowa. “We have to focus on the next generation and look at what’s happening in the future, or we’ll be relegated to the past.”
Binkley is addressing issues and constituents being ignored by other Republican presidential candidates, from immigrants and college students to education and health care. Binkley is crafting a fair and comprehensive policy to secure the border, with an airtight process that fosters legal immigration, discourages illegal immigration, and treats every human with the dignity and respect that they deserve. Binkley proposes that college students volunteer and serve inner-city youth to improve high school graduation rates and America’s education ranking compared to other developed nations. The new volunteer organization would be called S.A.V.E (Serving and Volunteering through Education and Entrepreneurship). Binkley also plans to reduce the federal debt, balance the budget and eliminate monopolistic practices among healthcare providers and insurers.
“It’s up to us as Republicans to be able to see the future. I see we have diluted our message. It’s time for us to lead and get out of debt. If we don’t handle this problem, we’ll be known as the generation that prospered the most and sacrificed the least. It’s time to fix it now,” Binkley said. “I’m the only Republican saying health care is eating away everyone’s pocketbook. The only way to get rid of that is to bring price visibility and competition back to healthcare.” Lastly, Binkley believes it is time for us to unite as a country to solve our biggest problems, and for us to believe, once again, that we can end the division in our nation and be the country we were called to be.
